The EP was entirely recorded and mixed on a four-track tape recorder (AKA Scabby Road Studios) and will be available on extremely limited, one-of-a-kind tapes. Each tape is a different recycled bossa nova album from the 1980s and, in tribute to the means of recording the EP, side 2 contains the contents of side 1 in reverse. All tapes come bundled with a digital download, which is also available separately.

The ‘Chapel Tapes’ EP was recorded in the chapel of a Victorian nunnery, on the 18th – 19th October 2014. The band also slept in there, except for Tom, who got the willies. The EP was entirely recorded and mixed on a four-track tape recorder (AKA Scabby Road Studios) and will be available on extremely limited, one-of-a-kind tapes. Each tape is a different recycled bossa nova album from the 1980s and, in tribute to the means of recording the EP, side 2 contains the contents of side 1 in reverse.
